On the instructions of the President of the Republic, the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, the National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, arrived this evening in Amman, the capital of Jordan, to participate in the "Ministerial Meeting in Support of Jerusalem and its Holy Sites." The meeting will be attended by members of the Arab Ministerial Committee tasked with international action to confront illegal Israeli policies and measures in occupied Jerusalem, as well as representatives from Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia. The meeting is scheduled for August 5th.

This meeting is being held amidst the deteriorating situation in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in light of the continued escalation of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and its attempts to undermine their national project.

This meeting will also provide an opportunity for the Minister of State to meet with several of his counterparts to discuss bilateral relations and exchange views on current international and regional issues.
