IATF Visa Requirements

I. CONSULAR VISA

File Submission

Interested parties may approach Algerian embassies and consulates in their place of residence to submit their visa applications.

File submission can be done individually or collectively through focal points designated by AFREXIMBANK.

Only participants whose names appear on the lists sent by the central administration may proceed with visa application submissions.

File Composition

• Completed and signed visa application form
• Passport with at least 6 months validity
• Photocopy of passport pages containing personal information
• Document confirming registration validation on the IATF 2025 platform
• 2 recent passport-format identity photos
• Payment of visa fees
• Hotel reservation**
• Round-trip flight reservation**

** In the absence of these documents, interested parties may submit their files and provide these two documents imperatively when collecting their visas.

Visa Processing and Validity

Holders of diplomatic passports, service passports, and laissez-passer from regional and international organizations are subject to the usual procedures for entry visa applications to national territory. Exemption depends on the existence of a visa exemption agreement for holders of these types of travel documents.

Regarding visa validity, diplomatic and consular posts will issue visas according to the following modalities:

• For individual participants: one-month tourist visa with single entry to cover only the event period (validity from August 15 to September 15)
• For exhibitors: 3-month business visa with multiple entries
• Employee members of bank delegations who must travel to Algeria several times for work meetings: 6-month business visa with multiple entries

II. VISA ON ARRIVAL

For exceptional cases that are duly justified, visas on arrival will be issued in coordination with the competent services of the Ministry of Interior and Local Communities and Territory Development (MICLAT).

Issuance Conditions

Any foreigner arriving on national territory is required to present themselves to the competent authorities responsible for border control at border posts, with a valid travel document accompanied by a consular visa.

Nevertheless, in case of emergency, the Border Police may issue exceptionally a regularization visa to a foreigner who presents themselves at border posts without a visa.

This measure concerns foreign nationals whose country of residence does not have diplomatic and consular representations.

File Composition:

1. Regularization visa application form
2. Valid passport (more than 6 months)
3. Copy of passport pages showing personal information
4. Documents proving the request for entry to Algerian territory (document confirming registration validation on the IATF 2025 platform)
5. Payment of visa fees
6. Proof related to accommodation on national territory (hotel reservation)
7. Return ticket

In order to be allowed to board a flight to an Algerian airport, the participant concerned by the visa on arrival must imperatively have in their possession a boarding certificate issued by the competent services of our ministerial department.
